# Smart Money Scanner

Markov Labs maintains a **proprietary monitoring tool** that tracks over 80 institutional and high-net-worth (“whale”) wallets across multiple blockchains on a daily basis. This system provides real-time visibility into large-scale capital flows, enabling the team to detect early signals of activity that could impact assets in our collateral pipeline.

By observing wallet movements, the tool identifies potential **inflows or outflows** that may precede significant price swings, shifts in market liquidity, or changes in utilization across lending markets. This information is used to validate **allocation decisions and risk management strategies**, allowing Markov Labs to proactively adjust exposure, rebalance positions, or hedge against anticipated market shifts.

Combined with on-chain data feeds, oracle pricing, and internal allocation models, wallet monitoring enhances the **anticipatory capabilities of our strategies**, helping the vault respond swiftly to evolving market dynamics and maintain alpha generation while mitigating downside risk.
