Systematic Allocator

Markov Labs’ allocator operates with a high-frequency monitoring cadence, performing portfolio checks approximately every 30 minutes, consistent with industry best practices. These frequent assessments allow the system to remain responsive to shifts in market conditions, liquidity, or collateral utilization, ensuring that allocations are always aligned with the latest risk and opportunity profiles.

However, actual rebalances are not executed mechanically at every check. Decisions to rebalance are guided by economic considerations, taking into account factors such as expected alpha, transaction costs (including gas fees), and current utilization levels. This approach avoids unnecessary or excessive rebalancing, which could erode returns or introduce operational inefficiencies.

By combining frequent monitoring with economically informed execution, Markov Labs strikes a balance between responsiveness and efficiency, maintaining optimal portfolio positioning without overtrading or generating avoidable costs.
